Appropriate time
Although this trek can be done throughout the year, it is best to do it at the beginning of spring or the end of winter.

Take Route 5 until the exit to Ocoa. Once left the route 5, continue to the south for 500 meters then turn right, there is signposting to La Campana, for Rabuco street in the west, after 1.4km the street turns south, continue on it until you reach the route f304 where you will have to turn left. Continue on this route for 7km until the asphalt ends. Turn right and in 30 meters turn left (south). After 2km, this road will take us to the entrance to the park.

Expected time
At a normal pace, this trekking should take about 3.5 hours. In MTB 2 hours will suffice, however there are many paths to explore.

Horseback riding in La Campana National Park
To hire horses in the La Campana National Park, it is possible to contact Marco at +56967348561 and +56332271996. Marco Cobra $ 4,000 / hour per horse $ 4000 (US$ 6.5 as of May 2018). In two to three hours you can walk quite well the main forests of palms, and in three to five hours you can reach the waterfall and other points of interest of the park.
