Add a new log entry always on top in the appropriate season sub-chapter and use format:

* Start Date to Finish Date (use Format YYYY-MMM-DD) / Duration in Days / Hiking or Packrafting / Travel Direction (SOBO for Southbound or NOBO Northbound) / Chosen Route and/or Option Name (RR for Regular Route) / Names or Alias

Summary with remarks to route that are considered useful for other hikers and packrafters. Include alerts, suggestions and personal perception of attractiveness and difficulties.

Add a sub-chapter by placing two "=" before and after the new sub-chapter heading ('==Sub-Chapter Heading==').

You can buy tickets online or easier in the ferry port. Cafe in the port & on the ferry. Crossing takes about 2 hours. It´s a big ferry so should run unless the weather is very rough.

Passenger fare is about 8200 pesos (Nov 2023)

From Punta Arenas rural bus station a bus goes every hour on the hour to the ferry port (Tres Puentes) Share taxi number 15 runs from the centre along Av. Bulnes to the port.

The ferry docks at Bahia Chilota and you need to walk or hitch the 6KM to Porvenir. A taxi is 6000 pesos (November 2023 info)
