The generally recommended trekking direction is southbound even if most sections can be hiked in either direction.
Few Some sections require a entrance permit if you would hike northbound. This limitation applies to section 1, 2-3, 12.
Also for section 11 the southbound limitation applies. Only in this direction permits to floating you can float down the river Caucuá with the your packraft.
