Incredible views of the icefield! Clockwise is very nice, you’ll have the icefield in front of you for many hours. Amazing weather window without any wind, very comfortable but also quite some people. Didn’t meet anyone else doing clockwise so we were alone on the first day, met dozens of people on day 2 but only during lunch and at camp, on day 3 much less and day 4 just a couple. Clockwise lets you climb de steep and eroded trail up to the huemul pass which we consider safer. An early hiker was coming down, didn’t see us and a large boulder coming down almost hit Isabelle. So better start early to avoid being with other people on this steep part. Beautiful family of condors flying over very low.
