I camped at the river in, a popular spot with boat ramp for fishing tours and locals to fish and swim. I checked with the officials controlling the fishing licenses about camping, no problem as long as you don't make fire (it's not a very nice spot to camp under the high voltage power lines and some garbage around, but arriving late from GPT 24, I was out of options)
MIND THE WATER LEVEL!
The river (I paddled in mid-high water level) is slow (3-5 k/hr) and almost tree-free. Wind picked up at 10:30, it got too strong after a short while, so I had to abandon the river around 4k before the bridge and hiked the rest.
In case of emergency or too strong winds you can abandon the river at any time on the southern bank and hike back to the road through private property, there's fishing lodges everywhere.
