Relatively uncomplicated & fast section, lots of info exists so just a summary here. In essence it feels like 3 parts
- part 1 Chile Chico to the park entrance: mostly cross country over a barren plateau with lots of animals. I arranged a taxi out of Chile Chico to skip the first 9km of road walk at 7am for an early start - Alexis +56 9 7971 5823. Surprisingly lots of water on this section.
- part 2 Park entrance to Casa de Piedra, park fee is 11400, very easy going, well marked trail, lots of water
