Coordinating the lake crossing in either direction can involve delays of a day or more if conditions aren’t good. And at CLP80,000 (US$100) the fare is not cheap. For a few kms, the trail between Lago Todos de Los Santos and Lago Cayutué is very overgrown and progress is slow. Crossing back and forth between adjacent fields can ease this somewhat.
