* You can get in the river earlier when you want a little bit of rapids (max class 2) and beautiful surroundings. I got in at a beach close to hotel Raudal just after the class 3 rapids But you have to climb over a fence so it's private ground. 500m further down the street is also a little trail towards the river to get in.
* There are many camping spots available next to the river. With camping take in mind that river levels can rise a meter overnight.
* If wind is strong you can get out earlier (at the indicated camp place?). Because head wind will be strong at the end and the lake crossing will have many waves.
