Getting out of Cochrane was slightly problematic (hitchhiking) so we walked the first 5 km, but after leaving the main road, the 4th car stopped and gave us a ride until the Lago Calluqueo.
We camped by Rio Pedregoso, left our backpacks there and went to see the glacier - a lovely trail, there are 3 streams on the trail but only in second part od the trail, it took us about 4hrs.
Most of the fords were easy to cross, but some of the puestos looked abandoned (we haven't seen a human soul on that section).
I don't think there is much to be added. The trail is slightly overgrown so that it is not always easy to follow.
Again lots of annoyingly wind resistant horseflies 🙃
It might be quite hard to hitchhike the last +/- 50 km. We only saw one car after walking 7 km and we were lucky enough that they gave us a ride to Villa O' Higgins.
