At the park entrance on the road they asked where we were going, once we explained we were going north to termas de chillan they asked to see the route. Wasn't a problem they just seemed curious, let us in without paying.
Puesto 120km - lots of people camping in this area on a Friday.
117km to 107km - snow present. It's manageable but slowed our progress. Around 113km is the worst of it. North of 107km some very small patches but nothing difficult.
Camp 106.6km - very wet at the moment there's a better option about 500m sobo.
Camp without water 102.3 - currently has plenty of water.
Camped at camp 87.1km - lots of horseflies
Ford 71.3km - easy at 4pm
Ford 66.4, 64.1 and 63.7km - also easy
Camping Los Puecos 63.9km - great spot hot spring was a bit too hot for us. Host was a legend; he brought us breakfast on Christmas.
Ford 48.4km - Very strong. Crossed around 5:30pm hip deep for Neele (1.61m). We took our time finding a suitable place to cross and ended up about 250m upstream from RR.
Camped at Ford 47.4km eastern side downstream there's a great camp spot with a fire ring.
Hot spring 40.4km is really amazing
We took option 2 to Termas de Chillan to avoid Rio Nuble. Some snow but really not a problem.
