At the entrance to Llamac, even before leaving the bus, is the first toll of 30 soles per person (save the receipt). Not be left pending purchases for the trek, as it is only possible to find basic markets, however, the area is a place of entry and exit of hikers, with a bit of luck and can have the time to look for.
- Day 1: Llamac (3,250) - Jahuacocha (4,030)
Llamac Exit south west, the road ascends rapidly, after 2 hours of climbing you come to a hydraulic installation where there is a fork, both paths reach Jahuacocha, one option is to follow the channel that feeds the plant referred to is quite long and in parts difficult to follow, the better alternative is to step (4300), highly recommended for its overview of the Huayhuash peaks, however require two additional hours for the clear upward path.
