From this kilometer onward, you will walk along the busy asphalt road known as Carretera Austral until the end of the stage. Challenges: Monotonous and endless walking on asphalt, high daily mileage (if you want to get through it as quickly as possible). Bivouacing: Don’t expect any nice spots with views; however, you can usually find places to sleep just a few meters off the road. A major factor affecting campsite selection is the noise from Carretera Austral.
