We hitch-hiked the minor road all the way , back and forth. Few cars but 1 car out of 2 stops so or worked. No water between Pampa Guanaco anda Rio Grande. Anda quite wind exposed ans fences everywhere so hard to camp.

Edit since January 2024: there is a minimarket calles Donde Ximena. Ximena is a very friendly woman, she moved here January 2024 with her husband. They don't have gas but they have food for resupply in the minimarket. GPS location: -54.132755,-69.236106, it is at the entrance of Pampa Guanaco, and can be found of Google maps. Absolutely nothing except at Cameron, the starting point of this section, where you can find next to the camping Los Pioneros a minimarket open from Monday to Saturday.
Accomodation :
Camping los Pioneros in Cameron is nice and offers camping ground electricity and hot shower. 13.000CLP per person.
