Region Los Lagos still has substantial amounts of snow. Trekked parts of section 18 the last week and even lower mountain ranges are covered in snow. At lago pirihueico the snow line is at 1200-1300 m. Especially minor roads / tracks at the southern flanks are covered with snow shields up to 2-3 m. Saying that, I think its not impossible to cross but be careful, as snow fields are steep in parts.
